The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The services position created for intervention encounters a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social SRD Assistance providers,” the agency said.
